A seaside reunion, with two complete endings

The Harbor Lights We Carry Home

Saki returns for her former partner’s photography exhibition. A seaside station, a rain-washed café and an evening window bring her to a choice. The complete work contains three scenes, two complete endings and three illustrations of the same fictional adult woman.

The first scene is a sample, not the complete paid story. It has a language switch so you can check the reading style in either language.

Choose the reading format you can use

The itch.io edition is a downloadable HTML reader ZIP, from US$3. Unzip all files together, then open index.html in a browser with local HTML and JavaScript support. The same purchase includes both languages and both endings. Phone support depends on the viewer; try the free sample and downloaded-file trial before buying. Local execution has not been verified on every device.

Prefer reading on a purchase page? Compare the Gumroad text-and-ZIP edition. It is the same work: no need to buy twice. Check each service’s final checkout total.

AI-assisted original fiction. All people and places are fictional adults. Personal viewing and noncommercial personal printing; redistribution and artwork resale are not licensed. No physical print, audio narration, character chat or custom story is supplied.

The Return Ticket — full Japanese story ends on its own. It is a different original story. You do not need to buy this illustrated work to finish it. A free book or story you already enjoy may be enough.
