A cooperative mystery on paper, for two players

Two clue sheets, a conversation, and one answer. Start with a complete free case; no game app, account or card deck is required.

Set up the free case

  1. Save the five-page English PDF below. Print single-sided on A4 at actual size.
  2. Give Player A page 2 and Player B page 3. Keep the shared setup page nearby. Keep page 4 (hints) and page 5 (answer and ending) separate.
  3. Read your own clue and talk about it. Do not turn over the solution before choosing your answer. One person can read both clues for solo play.
  4. If you want help, open only your hint. Finish by checking the reason and reading the complete ending.

Prepare only the pages you need

For one private group. If using the paid collection, the purchaser/recipient should be present. The paid collection has the same three cases in its 13-page PDF; this planner does not supply paid pages.

If you want two different cases next

The paid Three Harbor Signs collection has three cases: this free letter case, a photograph-order case, and a nine-room case. The photograph puzzle uses written labels, not supplied photographs. The 13-page English PDF separates player sheets, hints and answers. The same purchase also contains English and Japanese HTML game ZIPs. Those are the same cases, not additional games or a reason to buy twice.

Final total at checkout. Personal noncommercial play with the purchaser/recipient present; no redistribution, resale, public uploads or commercial events. One free case may be enough. A free puzzle you already enjoy is also a reasonable choice.

Before you choose

Can we finish without paying?

Yes. The free first case includes its answer, reason and complete ending. No paid sequel is needed to finish it.

Does it include physical cards or photographs?

No. You print the English PDF yourself. The HTML ZIP is a separate format included with the same purchase; phone compatibility depends on your viewer.

Is the printable version Japanese?

No. The PDF is English. The HTML game has English and Japanese editions.
